Jupiter Ascending, from the trailer it was quite obvious what to expect from this movie, a typical and predictable action movie, so typical that is even boring trying to write something about it :)

It starts with a dumb scene with something so stupid as : Lets name our children Jupiter, no a child can't be named as a planet :) Come on everyone knows Jupiter planet was named after a Roman god, Jupiter is a name and an astronomer in the movie doesn't know that ? Is this a thing done so everyone would feel smart by noticing it ?
Ah ok this doesn't make a movie bad, right, so what is next : jumping, running, explosions, flying ... happy ending.
So why I even watched it ? Just because it was made by the Wachowsky brothers or sisters or whatever they are now, anyway they just can't make a decent movie anymore. After the fantastic and great first Matrix they just do the same shit as matrix 2 and 3 were, they just keep adding more stuff and more action and more explosions and more of everything that doesn't make a good movie. Instead of taking away what is too much, they just keep adding stuff...
Is it worth watching ? If you like action movies with exploding stuff , running, flying jumping and everything every action movie has, then yes, you will enjoy it.
It looks like the Transformers movie where on the screen is going on so much stuff that you can't even follow what is going on, and then they would try to add even more, a total mess. The style of the movie is so mixed that is just kitschy in a bad way.

But the really important question this movie doesn't ask is :

The film industry is constantly complaining how much cash they loose because of illegal movie downloads, but if a movie like this, which burned hundreds of millions in special effects is still a shitty movie, how much cash would they need to take away all the useless stuff, write a decent script and just make a nice movie, whatever this means heheh :)

it was fun, and it looked great, and there was that bit with the bureaucracy that reminded me of Hitchhiker's Guide, but the romance was the most forced and least needed I've seen in a while... I kind of want a sequel, to show Jupiter having space adventures and actually coming into her own, but...
