Terminator Genisys

Hmmm what can I say about this movie, well, at least they tried something more than jumping and running through the entire film The story tries to be messy which in this case could work, sometimes looks like an alternate reality between the first two movies, sometimes a new film. I think it's not very convincing, but at least they tried, right ?

What is wrong is that going back in time just looks too easy and they even have a kind of simple portable time machine. In the first two movies made it look like time travel was complicated and can't be done many times and that saved the logic of the film. Now it starts to look too easy and then you think about oh well there can be a new robot that tries to kill John Connor every times one fails, or even better send a hundred robots and finally kill him

Then at least another thing that kind of tries to save the film, John Connor becomes the bad guy, this I have to say that this was cool But still not very convincing and the actor was totally annoying, why the didn't just use the actor who was in the second film ? This would have perfect sense, who knows maybe he didn't want or whatever happened, but i'm afraid they picked a new actor just because of his stupid face to make him look more a stereotype of a bad guy.

And then there is the common problem every sequel or prequel has, it tries to explain too much ! Sometimes there are thing in movies that don't have to be explained, it's not a documentary of something. Explaining certain stuff just make the movie dumb.

Another good part is the chick, I was afraid she would be pathetic or totally dumb, but she is quite ok and looks sexy and she is sexy because she is not another Angelina Jolie or Jessica Alba who have more silicon in their face than in their tits. She proves that sometimes simplicity works, she just looks good and doesn't need a ton of silicon and has not to look like fashion models who look more a skeleton or a man than a woman.

What else can I say about this movie, It could be very good, but it's not really bad, it's just a movie to watch and in a pile of crap we keep getting with just jumping a running, explosions, messed up moving camera view ... this movie is ok to watch and entertaining, it's just not great, it's an attempt that didn't work the way it could.
